SolstiS – art-light festival
From 18 December ’till 5 January, Brussels holds its first light festival, called SolstiS.
Along the small inner Ring Road (la Petite Ceinture) you can go an watch five installations by three international artists.
Although I like the idea of having a art-light festival in Brussels, I think the whole concept lacks some presence.

Mobile Vikings
Yesterday I registered on the website of Mobile Vikings, a mobile virtual network operator who thinks that free mobile internet is a basic right.
In their own words:
Just like every earth resident has the right for drinking water, energy and education, we believe that everyone should have free access to information and digital services. Mobile Vikings wants to be a movement that accelerates this process.

Horta Gallery, Brussels
Locations in Brussels keep on improving, not only above but also below ground-level. Check out this gallery, originally designed by Victor Horta it was abandonned for years and years. But it recently got a ‘Miami Vice’ eigties make-over and I like it. Read more for more pictures…
