Red Bull Elektropedia
Last Saturday we went to an info session about the Red Bull Elektropdia in Kortrijk. For those unfamiliar with the project, this is what the ‘About’ page on the website says:
Electronic music is a part of Belgian heritage. Like Germany and the US, Belgium is often viewed as the birthplace of all things electronic. Sadly there has been far too little documentation about the Belgian club scene over the past thirty years. That’s why we’ve taken it upon us to create a thorough and in-depth record of Belgian nightlife in the months (and years) ahead. From Telex, Front 242, New Beat, Technotronic, Outlander, CJ Bolland, Ian Van Dahl and Soulwax to 55, Boccaccio, Extreme, Carat, Fuse, Zillion, Dirty Dancing and Culture Club.
